Autumn Has
Begun
What a beautiful Autumn we have been having! We have had great days for participating in
and viewing sporting events and look forward to those outside activities to
come! Our days inside have been quite
busy as well!
Mini Class
Night
On September 18 we welcomed all parents to come and
follow their daughter’s schedule. Sr.
Patricia McCarthy, CND shared her insights and humor with us all. Many parents have shared how they enjoyed
experiencing what their daughter’s day must be like as she moves from teacher
to teacher. Microsoft was also here
displaying tablets and laptops with the required and recommended components for
student devices at Mercy.Mercy Day Celebration
On September 24, 1827, Catherine McAuley opened the first House of Mercy on Baggot Street in Dublin, Ireland. Mercy International Center Each year on September 24th, the Sisters of Mercy celebrate that founding event. This year at Mercy High School we gathered for prayer and to learn about the Mission Trip to York, PA that a number of our students participated in this past summer. We ended the day by sharing tea and special teapot cookies made for the occasion.
